We love working with high school seniors, athletes, and families—but we also have a passion for branding sessions that help young professionals take their careers to the next level! This time, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kaylee, a talented up-and-coming hairstylist, to create stunning branding images for her social media and marketing.
Meet Kaylee
Kaylee is a student at FPTC Cosmetology, where she is mastering the art of hair and beauty. For her, hairstyling is more than just a career—it’s a way to bring confidence and happiness to others. “It’s a blessing to wake up every day and make someone feel good about themselves! Seeing a smile on someone’s face just does good to my heart,” she shared.
Kaylee’s passion for hair started early. She always loved the idea of helping people feel their best, and she knew that cosmetology was her calling. “It’s one of those things—when you know, you know,” she said. “It’s not really a ‘passion.’ You either got it or you don’t. It comes naturally.”
Building Her Brand
As she prepares to launch her career, Kaylee’s goals include building her clientele, marketing her work, and boosting her brand presence. She dreams of owning her own salon one day, and we have no doubt she will make that happen! This branding session was all about showcasing her fun personality, creative skills, and professionalism through vibrant, eye-catching images that will make her stand out online.
The Branding Session Experience
One of our favorite parts of Kaylee’s session was capturing both her personality and her craft. From styling tools to action shots, we made sure her passion for hairstyling was at the forefront of the images. Kaylee loved that she had creative freedom but also appreciated the guidance we provided. “Josh and Ashley go above and beyond for their clients. It’s so easygoing! You either smile or don’t, but you better be ready because Josh will still take the picture,” she laughed.
Of course, no session is complete without some memorable moments! One of the funniest? Kaylee wanted to demonstrate her skills by cutting Josh’s hair—only to realize that Josh is bald! “Unfortunately, there was nothing to cut! The biker tan is what’s going for him haha!” she joked.
