Life Behind the Lens: Family Milestones & Memories

It’s been a full and beautiful season for our family lately, and we wanted to share a little peek at what life has looked like behind the lens—and away from it too.

Hudson Graduated! 🎓

We’re incredibly proud of Hudson, who graduated from Poplar Springs High School this spring. After a senior year packed with sports, school, and everything in between, it felt like such a relief (for all of us!) to cross that finish line. We celebrated with a grad party the Saturday after graduation—surrounded by friends, family, and a whole lot of pride for everything he’s accomplished.

Cruise to the Bahamas 🛳️

Right after graduation, we packed our bags and took off on a 5-day, 4-night cruise to the Bahamas—a much-needed reset and celebration rolled into one. One of our favorite parts was simply sitting down for dinner as a family each night, something that feels like such a treat when life is normally go-go-go. We also had an unforgettable speed boat and snorkeling excursion, filled with sunshine, laughter, and a lot of “wow, we really needed this.”

20 Years of Marriage 💛

Ashley and I recently celebrated 20 years of marriage—and honestly, it feels like it’s flown by. To celebrate, we took a full day off (a rarity for us!) and spent it doing our favorite things: hitting the beach and enjoying a quiet dinner at Uncle Ernie’s. It was simple, meaningful, and honestly perfect.

We’re so thankful for the milestones we’ve had this season—big and small—and for the chance to slow down and enjoy the moments that really matter. Life moves fast, and this chapter has been a reminder to pause, soak it in, and celebrate it all.
