Senior Spotlight: Ella

There’s something special about a senior who knows exactly why she loves what she loves. That’s Ella.

A student at Sneads High School, Ella’s favorite subject is science. Not just because she’s good at it, but because she genuinely loves understanding the “why” behind everything. How things work. How our bodies function. How the world around us operates. That curiosity is going to take her far.

Outside the classroom, Ella stays busy. Racing, FFA, BETA Club, FCA, serving at church, working, spending time with friends, and a little shopping here and there. She’s the kind of senior who doesn’t just sit back and watch life happen. She’s in it.

Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals shaped her future plans. Ella is pursuing a degree in biology with the goal of continuing into veterinary medicine. In an agricultural community like ours, that matters. She understands that caring for animals supports something much bigger than just one farm. It supports families, food systems, and a way of life.

Now let’s talk about her session.

Ella said her favorite part was being able to laugh and just be herself. That’s always the goal. No pressure. No weird posing. Just you.

And yes, the session with her car was easily one of the coolest parts. It felt like her. Confident. A little bold. Completely authentic.

Her most memorable moment? Walking into Eden Gardens State Park. The light coming through those trees, everything bright and beautiful. It set the tone for the entire evening.

If there’s one thing Ella wants other seniors to know before their session, it’s this: there’s nothing to worry about. Show up. Be yourself. We’ll take care of the rest.

Ella, you’ve got a bright future ahead of you. Keep asking why. Keep chasing it. And don’t lose that drive.
